• Autumn Hachey | Hello Editor in Chief

    Autumn Hachey is a digital strategist, design enthusiast and content marketer at Leon’s where she travels from coast-to-coast working with some of Canada’s top home decor and lifestyle content creators. Her penchant for bold design and love of all things yellow inspires her role as editor-in-chief of Leon’s Hello Yellow blog and the Hello magazines, which celebrate the unique homes and stories of Canadian bloggers.  Her work has been featured in Canadian Business Magazine and Strategy Magazine, and she has appeared on Breakfast Television and CHCH.  Autumn lives in Toronto with her beau and their hamster, Hamburger, both of whom graciously agreed to allow her to paint most of their apartment peach. When she’s not working, designing or enjoying coffee, Autumn loves gardening, rummaging through vintage shops and filling her brain with all things marketing. She writes about her own creative endeavours and spirited adventures on her personal blog, www.autumnhachey.com.

    Melissa DiRenzo is the blogger behind The Sweet Escape - which gives readers a peek into her creative and colourful mind. She's an Art Director, Designer, Maker and all ‘round creative gal with a deep-seated passion for home decor, a love for anything vintage and a gift for great styling. She’s also a dabbling foodie and a sucker for D.I.Y. When Melissa isn’t busy heading up The Sweet Escape you can find her as the Creative Director of Leon's own Hello Holiday/Sunshine magazines, a Home & DIY contributor at Apartment Therapy, and one of the maker faces of DIY television network Makeful.       Mercedes Papalia is an art director, designer and actor in Toronto. She and her sister/partner Natalie produce artistic concepts, styled shoots, DIY photo/video tutorials, and creative content with their blog, The Party Parade. Her work as an artist and designer has been seen in over 40 national publications. At any given time she can be found at home with a script in one hand, a glue gun in the other, and a pot of fresh pasta on the stove. She and her partner TJ are also in the process of renovating their old bungalow. Luckily, he has a construction background and both of their families are full of designers and builders, who are generously helping them create their little dream house on a budget. TJ and Mercedes are garage sale/thrift store fanatics who are known to nerd out on a good sale, and love cuddle hangouts with their tiny fur child, Toby.
